The objective of this activity is to demonstrate the ability to use digital skills to acquire, analyze and manipulate data.

I logged onto the webpage NAEP State Comparisons and uploaded the information and put it on a spread sheet. 

The assignment is to  conduct a test to assess the 4th grade NAEP reading scores for Hispanic and Black students using an online t-test calculator.

Hypothesis:

H1    There is a statically significant difference between the NAEP mean scores of Black and Hispanic students on the 4th grade reading assessment.

H0: There is no difference between the mean scores.

Since the p score is 0.02536, the null hypothesis is rejected.
